Death Cancellation

Many loans have a provision allowing for the cancellation of the entire loan balance upon the death of the borrower.

A copy of a certified Death Certificate is required to process the cancellation, however in the absence of a death certificate documentation such as an obituary or funeral or memorial service program can be useful.

Additional information such as, date of death, location of death, last known residence or the funeral home handling the burial arrangements can all help locate the required copy of the Death Certificate.
