Perkins Loan Cancellation Types

I am a Teacher in a Federally Designated Low Income School or Education Service Agency

I am a Special Education Teacher of Disabled Children

I am a Teacher in a Shortage Subject Field

I am a Faculty Member at a Tribal College or University

I am a Speech Language Pathologist with a Master's Degree Working Exclusively for Low Income Schools

I am a Librarian with a Master's Degree in Library Science Employed in a Low Income School or a Public Library Serving Low Income Schools

I work for a Provider of Early intervention Services

I work for a Provider at a Family Service Agency

I am a Staff Member in the Education Part of a Preschool Program Under Head Start

I am a Staff Member in a Pre-Kindergarten or Childcare Program Licensed or Regulated by State Authority

I am a Nurse or a Medical Technician (Allied Health Professional) 

I am a Full-Time Firefighter

I am a Full-Time Law Enforcement Officer for a Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement Agency

I am a Full-Time Corrections Officer for a Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement Agency

I am a Full-Time Attorney Employed by a Public Defender Organization

I am a Full-Time Attorney Serving as a Prosecuting Attorney

I am a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, The National Guard or the Reserves and have Served 12 Consecutive Months in a Designated Area of Hostility or Imminent Danger

I am a Volunteer in the Peace Corps or the AmeriCorps VISTA Program.
